Senior Shoebox Project

Deliver Joy to our Local Seniors!
For over 40 years, during the holiday season, the annual ACCESS Senior Shoebox Project brings gifts of cheer and care to seniors, people with disabilities, and people who are homebound in Jackson County.
Nominations are closed and will reopen in Fall 2026.

How It Works
Community members have the opportunity to fill and wrap gift boxes with a variety of items, which are then hand-delivered the first week of December.
Give a Shoebox
Bring joy this season! The ACCESS Senior Shoebox Project is now accepting wrapped boxes filled with fun and usable gifts.
Please use a shoebox-sized container or gift box.
Suggested size: 10″ × 6″ × 3″
We ask that the box lids and bottoms are wrapped separately, so we may add a holiday greeting from ACCESS to each box.

How to Wrap a Shoebox

“Yesterday I received a bountiful gift, a surprise from you, it was the best Christmas present in my 92 years, especially because it came from caring and loving hearts.
Each package I opened made me feel like a little girl at her first Christmas tree. I’ve never received gifts that pleased me so, as if the givers knew and loved me.”
