ACCESS 50th Anniversary Celebration
Date: Wednesday, July 29
Time: 4–6 p.m.
Location: Medford Public Library
Cost: Free and open to the public
For the past 50 years, ACCESS has worked alongside neighbors, partners and volunteers to build community across Southern Oregon by providing food, warmth and shelter to vulnerable populations. On Wednesday, July 29th, ACCESS invites the community to celebrate this milestone at a free, family-friendly 50th Anniversary Celebration at the Medford Public Library.
The celebration will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. and is open to everyone. Guests can enjoy family-friendly activities, learn about our many programs, explore ACCESS’s storied history through archival video and celebrate the impact that thousands of supporters, volunteers and community partners have made over the past five decades.
Since 1976, ACCESS has expanded from a small community action agency into one of Southern Oregon’s largest nonprofit organizations, providing services such as food assistance, housing support, utility assistance, fire survivor programs and more. ACCESS has remained committed to helping individuals and families navigate challenges while creating opportunities for long-term stability.
“For 50 years, ACCESS has been fueled by the generosity and strength of our community,” said Kellie Battaglia, Executive Director of ACCESS. “This celebration is an opportunity to reflect on our history, recognize the critical partnerships that have made our work possible, and look ahead to the future as we continue building stronger communities together.”
Community members of all ages are encouraged to attend, learn more about ACCESS programs and celebrate an organization that has served generations of Southern Oregonians.
